Composition

EACH SOFT CAPSULE CONTAINS:
Korean Panax Ginseng Extract 40mg
Vitamin A (Retinol Palmitate) USP 2500 IU
Vitamin D (Cholecalciferol USP 270 IU
Vitamin E (∞-Tocopheryl Acetate) USP 10 IU
Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Nitrate) USP 3mg
Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) USP 2.5mg
Vitamin B5 (Calcium Pantothenate) USP 5mg
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine HCI) USP 2mg
Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) USP 3mcg
Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) USP 60mg
Vitamin PP (Nicotinamide) USP 10mg
Acid Folic USP 200mcg
Calcium (Calcium Hydrophosphate) BP 27mg
Magnesium (Magnesium Oxide) USP 28mg
Manganese (Manganese Sulfate) USP 0.41mg
Zinc (Zinc Oxide) USP 6.9mg
Copper (Copper Sulphate) BP 0.26mg

Indication

Supplements vitamin and mineral in following case:

• For state of exhaustion (eg caused by stress) tiredness, feeling of weakness and decreasing concentration, weak constitution, anorexia dystrophyla, wasting diseases fatigue, illness, pregnancy lactation, a period of growth senile

• For ill – balance or deficient nutrition and decelerates convalescence as well as for the increase of general resistance

• Prevent and treatment of common symptoms of aging and deficiency of vitamin and minerals caused by old age

 
Dosage

Adults: One soft capsule/day, preferably taken at breakfast

Children < 12 years: Not recommended

Do not use over dosage of medication.

The soft capsules should be swallowed in total with some liquid without chewing. In case of difficulty in swallowing: Cut the soft capsule open, squeeze the content onto a spoon and mix with some malade, honey or any other food before taking.

 
Contraindication

Hypersensitive with any composition of product existing disturbances in calcium metabolism (i.e increase calcium level or increase calcium excretion), oversupply of the body with vitamin A or Vitamin D, renal malfunctions, during therapy with retinoids (certain acne remedies), in case other drugs with Vitamin A and Vitamin D are taken.

 
Precaution

If the precaution is taken according to the prescriptions with respect to intake, no special precautionary measures are necessary. Nevertheless, the physician or pharmacist should be informed if the patient suffers from other diseases, has any allergies and/or is taking other drugs.

 
Adverse Effects/Contraindications

Occasionally, gastrointestinal side effect (sensation of repletion, stomach pain, vomiting) may appear.

-Vitamin B2: Large doses of Vitamin B2 have resulted in a bright yellow discoloration of the urine which may interfere with certain laboratory test.

-Vitamin PP: Dryness of the skin pruritus, hyperpigmentation, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting, anorexia, activation of peptic ulcer, amblyopia, jaundice and impairment of liver function, decrease in glucose tolerance, hyperglycaemia and hyperuricaemia.

-Vitamin C: Large doses of ascorbic acid have resulted in haemolysis in patients with G6DP deficiency.

-Vitamin A: The administration of excessive amounts of vitamin A substances over long periods can lead to toxicity. Hypervitaminosis (chronic toxicity) is characterised by fatigue, irritability, anorexia and loss of weight, vomiting and other gastrointestinal disturbance, low-grade fever hepatoplenomegaly, skin changes (yellowing dryness sensitivity to sunlight), alopecia, dry hair, cracking and bleeding lips, anaemia, headache, hypercalcaemia, subcutaneons swelling, nocturia and pain in bones and joints.

-Vitamin D: Excessive intake of vitamin D leads to the development of hypercalcaemia and its associated affects including hypercalciuria, ectopic calcification, and renal and cardiovascular damage.

-Calcium: Oral calcium salts can cause gastrointestinal irritation.

-Magnesium: Ingestion of magnesium salt may cause gastrointestinal irritation and watery diarrhoea

-Iron: The astringent action of oral iron preparation sometimes produces gastrointestinal irritation and abdominal pain with nausea and vomiting. The irritant adverse effects are usually related to the amount of elemental iron taken rather than the type of preparation. Other gastrointestinal effects may include either diarrhoea or constipation.
