Vitamin B1 is essential for the metabolism of glucose. It also improves the function of the nervous system.
Vitamin B6 is essential for the metaboIism of glucose and for normal nerve functions.
Vitamin B12 is a complex vitamin which is required in very small quantities for nerve functions. In addition, it is essential for the formation of red blood cells.
L-Glutamic acid reduces fatigue and improves brain functions. L-Glutamic acid is an amino acid which plays an important role in the synthesis of proteins in the brain. L-Glutamic acid is essential Amino acid which is very much required by the cerebral tissues in order to revitalise and optimise the brain functions. As the person becomes old, certain degree of degeneration of brain cells (neurons) takes place. Therefore regular intake of L-Glutamic acid regenerates the neurons and helps the brain to perform effectively. Dull and inattentive patients become alert with the administration of L-Glutamic acid. L-Glutamic acid may shorten the periods of memory loss in psychotic patients after undergoing electric shock treatment.
